Sometimes the thing that draws our eye to want to #photograph, is the details or patterns we observe.
In this case, showing the whole palm and the surrounding area would have distracted from the cool patterns, so i #zoomed in and cropped out the unnecessary information. This left me with only the piece that drew my eye initially.
I took a bunch of variations to play with the layering of the lines. I also tried #color and #blackandwhite versions.
It's all about ending up with the photo we imagined at the start. Often it's a process to get to that final image. So don't worry if you don't get it perfectly right on your first shot. Keep trying and you will succeed most of the time!
